DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this program is to encourage the youth of our c
 ommunity to check out books from The Schulenburg Public Library.  The 2025
  Summer Reading Program is for the following age groups:  \nRead-To-Me (in
 fant to 4 year olds).  A parent or guardian is required to read 15 books t
 o the child.  \nAge 5-9\, the child is required to read 15 books.   \nAge 
 10-12\, the child is required to read 10 Chapter books.  \nFamilies are in
 vited to join the 2025 Texas Reading Program!  By doing so\, you will help
  your child retain hard-earned reading skills acquired during the school y
 ear.  Parents should bring their child or children to check out books from
  the Schulenburg Public Library.  ONLY BOOKS from the Schulenburg Public L
 ibrary can be recorded on the child's reading log.  The books HAVE TO BE T
 AKEN HOME and read. Parents or Guardians may sign their child or children 
 up after reading their books they checked out from the library.  The Readi
 ng Program begins on June 2\, 2025 and will end on July 29\, 2025.  The li
 brary has much more to offer.  Come and check out he scheduled events.  Yo
